Freezing Facility & Further Processing
Significant attention has been given to the design of the freezing facility and the further processing areas of our plant. Focusing on IQF (individually quick frozen) products, it is in this area where the Continental Grill brand has evolved and where customized private label programs take shape.
All of the product handling in this room is done mechanically as the latest technology is used to move the boneless chicken breast through the various stages of processing with great precision and accuracy. Equipped with two large Brine Mixers and an Injector, we are capable of introducing precise quantities of solution (natural, custom flavored or salt based) to deliver the exact product that our clients have specified. The IQF Tunnel (co2 gas cryogenics) instantly freezes individual portions to seal in freshness, delivering a user friendly “ice-glazed” product.
A Combination Scale is then used to finish the packaging process as items are measured to their exact weights
as the packaging is printed according to customer needs.
